Ingredients:
- 2 New York steaks
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 2 cups bourbon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
To make the steak marinade, mix the garlic salt, bourbon and brown sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Place the steaks in the bourbon steak marinade mixture and allow them to marinate for 1-2 hours.
Heat the olive oil to medium-high in a frying pan and sear each side of the New York steaks for 2-3 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-high and continue to fry the new york steaks for desired doneness (approx 7-10 minutes).
Season with salt and pepper and serve the New York steaks immediately with steamed asparagus, broccoli or baked potatoes.
