New York Strip Steak with Onions
Ingredients:
- 2 New York Steaks
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat the grill to high heat. In a medium frying pan, heat the butter and saute the onions until transparent. Add garlic salt and red wine to the onions and reduce to half. Sear all sides of New York Steaks on the grill for 1-2 minutes per side. Reduce the heat to medium-high and allow each side of the new york steaks to cook for 7-10 minutes or until done. Pour the onion mixture over each new york steak and serve immediately with a twice baked potatoes.
