How to grill New York steaks:

Ingredients:
- 2 New York steaks
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 5 tbsp beef stock
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
In a saucepan, over medium heat, add the apple sauce, beef stock, and nutmeg and heat until reduced (approx 10-15 minutes).  Flavor each side of the New York Steak with salt and pepper.   In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear all sides of the New York strip steaks.   Reduce heat to medium and allow each side of steak to cook for 7-10 minutes.  Remove New York Steaks from stove and cut 1/2 inch grooves into strip steaks.  Pour apple sauce mixture over New York strip steaks and serve immediately. Serve with sweet potato wedges and bread or rolls.
